Serving The Community For Over 20 Years Now
Rachel Supalla founded Discovery Kidzone in her home in 2009 as a half-day preschool for five children. Over time, the community need for high-quality care and education was evident, and we rapidly expanded.
- In 2011, we moved into our first location (DKZ 1)
- In 2013, we added infant and toddler care
- In 2014, we opened our second location (DKZ 2)
- In 2016, we opened our third location (DKZ 3)
- In 2022, we opened our fourth location (DKZ 4 Helena)
- Today we serve over 400 children daily and have 75 educational professionals on staff.
- In 2023 we opened our off site summer camp location serving over 120 additional children in the summer.
Family-Owned By A Caring Husband And Wife Duo
Our founder holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration and is married to her high-school sweetheart Mr. Eric, who is now her business partner and Mr. Everything. Together, they have four children and are on-site daily to ensure your child receives the very best education.

Our founder drew upon her years of childcare education and the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies to develop a unique curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration. Our mission is to develop the whole child through creativity, nurturing, and cooperation.
