Kindness
Once children and adults feel safe, they can then move on to fostering loving and nurturing relationships. Promoting a positive sense of self, growing strong caregiver bonds, and developing positive parent to teacher relationships are vital to children’s development. At Discovery Kidzone, we want children to feel loved and valued and teach them how to treat others that way in the process.
Mindfulness
A child and adult who are in a safe place and feel loved will be able to regulate emotions, concentrate more, have better problem-solving skills, clean up after themselves, help others, set goals, and become happy and productive humans. We teach the children how to move to the next step and be mindful of their surroundings and their people. Ultimately, by learning these three key elements, the children will have a strong foundation for years to come.

We believe that children should be allowed to discover and learn and have environments filled with wonder. We try to facilitate that in our indoor and outdoor classrooms. Our curriculum is also child-led and hands-on full of discovery.

This program was created to thank our Discovery Kidzone team members who refer friends and families to enroll in our program. All you need to do is complete the form, refer a family, and send it to our Education Director. After the family has been enrolled for 6 months, you will receive a $150 gift card!

When You Refer A New Family, You Get $150 After 60 Days Of Enrollment!
School Year Referral:
Each time a child is enrolled in our program due to your recommendation to friends and family, you will receive a $150 gift card! You will receive your gift card after the family has been enrolled in Discovery Kidzone for 6 months, full-time.
Summer Camp Referral:
Each time a child is enrolled in any of our camps due to your recommendation to friends and family, you will receive a $150 gift card! You will receive your gift card after 30 days of enrollment.

Staff Appreciation Days That Show We Care
We designate several days to celebrate our fantastic team of administrators, educators, and caregivers throughout the year. These events range from breakfasts, holiday luncheons, employee gift bags, and more! We appreciate your hard work!
How It Works
The administrators will review your resume and will contact you to schedule an interview/audition.
During the interview, you will be requested to provide a sample lesson plan, writing samples, and other needed documentation.
You will also be requested to do a work interview/audition. Then we will email you or call you for the result.
Once you are hired and offered a position, you are expected to:
- Submit the needed required paperwork before your start date.
- On your first day, you will be given a tour of the center and meet other team members.
- You will complete 26 hours of training videos for Early Childhood Educators within the first week.
- New Hire Training Program in week two includes training videos, classroom assessments, and some classroom observations and interactions.
Once the initial training is completed, you will be assigned to your classroom. There will be multiple touchpoints throughout your training to check-in and see how you adjust to your new role and the center.
